Rates:We pre-book for the entire term, meaning you are responsible for the full tuition for that term. New students are welcome to try out a few sessions with us before deciding to commit to the current term. Tuition varies by service, and the length of each term, so please send us an email with an indication of what kind of service you are seeking and we will happily give you a preliminary estimate. Each of our services carries a different fee to reflect the amount of time we spend outside of each session supporting our students. The following list should give you a sense of those variables.Standardized Test Prep:Rates vary, depending on the package. We recommend 30 sessions, ideally three times per week for ten weeks (longer for students with learning challenges).Tutoring for Self-Starters:Some students are self-starters and families and teachers require no communication from us at all. These students arrive with specific subject needs and well circumscribed goals for each session.Tutoring with Communication:Some students require traditional tutoring but have families that wish to be more involved in the communicative process, including periodic emails to parents or teachers. We also provide periodic conferences to discuss progress.Educational Mentoring:Many students require or simply benefit from more comprehensive attention. This service includes regular emails to parents and/or teachers, periodic conferences, and additionally includes regular written reports that describe the hypotheses we are forming about the student in the service of guiding their overall development. We recommend twice per week with mentoring students.Scaled Rate:We also offer short-term scaled rates, which we reevaluate with families every term.
